Philadelphia’s Planners Panel- Stotesbury Mansion

KPE-Wedding-VideoEvery month, The Society of Wedding Planners (SWP) has an event for it’s members and industry professionals to network and gain some new knowledge with what is happening in the industry so we can bring it back to you (our clients).  Normally, Karen runs and plans the event, but this month she handed over the reins to me.  I had the awesome pleasure of working with Lauren Cerullo and Liz Craighead of Feastivities Events as well as Meryl Snow and the entire Feastivities Events Team.

This month was our Planner’s Panel.  The panel consisted of Christina Hill of cHill Weddings, Lynda Barness of I DO Wedding Consulting, Dan Hoch of Feastivities Events, Mark Kingsdorf of The Queen of Hearts Wedding Consultants, Shelly Tsipori and Caryn Lucia-Taylor; both from SEI.

Jim Cohn of Mid Atlantic Events Magazine

Jim Cohn of Mid Atlantic Events Magazine moderated the event.  Industry professionals and SWP members were able to write in to the panel about trends in weddings, corporate planning, how to pre-screen and connect with your client.  The hour was jam packed with tons of useful information.

Renee Grande- All About Events

Every month we also like to give two SWP Members a chance to “stand in the spotlight” with any new services or happenings that are going on within their company.  February showcased Renee Grande; owner of Events by Monroe; announced that her and Sarah Morrison would be joining forces at Sarah’s company All About Events. Becky Dissinger of Synergetic Sounds gave a brief overview of how Synergetic Sounds had put together a calendar that was now on sale.  Synergetic Sounds was also our DJ for the night showcasing off their fabulous skills and services.

Feastivities Events showcased their “cart service”, (which will soon be renamed) with some fabulous goodies, such as short ribs with mashed potatoes, caesar salad in asiago cups, not to mention a s’more station and cherries marscapone.

Stotesbury Mansion never looked more amazing than on this night; with its new remodeled/refurnished look- those who were there before did not recognize it’s newest face lift.

Thank you to Off Shoots that decorated the mansion along with Kevin York (Kevin York Photography) and Eli Allen (Majestic Images)  who captured the fabulous atmosphere.  *Photos featured in this blog post are done by Majestic Images.

Make it a Fab Day!
