Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue- some useful tips on an old saying

We have all heard of the saying before you walk down the aisle you should have “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue”.  Well I have taken that old saying and recreated it with a few benefits of why you should consider hiring a wedding planner/day of coordinator for your special day!

Something Old:  we are not saying that Karen Pecora Events is old school and doesn’t keep up with the new trends and happenings of the current year/bridal season… Au Contraire- we are just the opposite!  With 17 years of expertise.  Karen has mastered (almost) everything that can go wrong; and just to make sure that nothing falls through the cracks- we have a checklist that has been tailored over the years to make sure nothing, even down to the last Jordan almond is forgotten.

Something New: Check out one of the newest additions to Karen Pecora Events.  Kassie Budzinski.  We are always looking for fresh, new ideas and eyes within the business.  Just because she is new doesn’t mean she doesn’t have the experience.  We can tell you what’s hot and what’s not for your wedding day.  Have you seen our Top 10 Tips for your wedding day?  You need to check them out! Something Borrowed: Trust us we know all about cutting corners and pinching pennies when it comes to your wedding budget.  It is enough to make you want to pull your hair out! Well, DON’T! We have a solution- borrow our expertise! We are here as your planner and friend.  We tell it like it is and we promise not to sugar coat any information we give to you!  After all you hired us, we are the professionals- wouldn’t you want us to be brutally honest and save you the hassle of choosing something you think you might love, but in the end was a horrible decision?  We have been there and done that.

Something Blue: We know that there will be days when those “Wedding Planning Blues” start to overcome you.  You are fighting with your future in laws, you can’t seem to shed those last few pounds, it seems as though you are at the near brink of a Bridal Meltdown.  We are here to tell you to go on vacation…You heard us…Take a Wedding Vacation- no thinking, talking or even looking at your bridal “to do” list for at least 24 hours.  We promise once you come back with a clear head, you won’t feel as overwhelmed.  Many planners want you to stay focused but if you are completely unhappy while planning, things are not going to come any easier.  So take our advice and GO ON A VACATION!!! You’ll thank us!  Plus if you hire us as your planner, day of coordinator whatever it may be, we will handle everything while you are out with your fiancé on date night and doing fun stuff.  He will definitely thank us- when he no longer has a bridezilla on his hands.

Make it a Positive Day! Enjoy!
