We have had the greatest pleasure of planning a baptism, a 1st birthday for this family and now they have welcomed Baby Alex back in July! October 5th marked Baby Alex’s Christening Debut!
Naturally- we needed to differentiate both baptism’s since Kim & Chris now have two boys. We took inspirations from Pinterest, using grey chevron, baby blue, white and some hints of purple.
Diane Schaffer of Rogue Invitations designed a few customized labels to add to our decor. Alex’s precious face adorned water bottle labels, hershey kisses and cookie favor boxes which were both delicious and adorable courtesy of Cakes and Candies by MaryEllen. Clay’s Bakery took our design and ran with it and created a raspberry swirl pound cake and a chocolate chip pound cake- adorned with the baby blue, white and grey chevron color scheme.
White roses in glass bubbles are simple yet elegant. In this situation we hung 75 of them from the staircase railing. Simply gorgeous!
These amazing good bye gifts were a result of a few brainstorming sessions. ALEX spelled out in cookies presented in a sturdy clear plastic side opening box finished off with hand wrapped ribbon and a custom label of our adorable lil Alex!
During Kyle’s baptism last year we had a lovely tree that we hung blue and white tags on it for guests to leave sentiments so that a book could be made for him. This time we decided to do fabric squares for family and friends to leave messages on, for a quilt to be made for Alex. We created a little rhyme for the family to understand the concept!
